Local Planning Committee Meeting #3
Please join us for the third Local Planning Committee (LPC) meeting for an overview of the Open Call for Projects process, updates on conversations with prospective project sponsors, and discussion on proposed local evaluation criteria that will be used to assess projects submitted for funding consideration.
Committee members will also finalize the vision and goals that will guide the remainder of the planning process and begin discussing a Downtown Roadmap that identifies both DRI-funded investment opportunities and longer-term policy, programmatic, and capital priorities that can advance downtown revitalization beyond the DRI program.
The meeting will also have a dedicated public comment period for you to share your thoughts and ideas!
Decarbonization 101 Webinar #2
This webinar is for project sponsors whose proposals meet the decarbonization criteria outlined on Page 77 of the DRI 2026 Guidebook. The Decarbonization webinars on August 11, 2026 and September 10, 2026 will present the same content. Sponsors are invited to attend the one most convenient to them.

Open Call Informational Webinar
This virtual event is an opportunity for project sponsors to learn about the Open Call requirements and submission process. Project sponsors are encouraged to review the "Submit a Project" page and Open Call Submission Form in advance of this session. There will be a brief presentation followed by a Q&A. The session will be recorded and made available on the website along with the session slides.

DRI and Historic Preservation Webinar
This webinar is designed for prospective project sponsors participating in the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Round 9 and NY Forward Round 4. During this session, participants will gain an overview of the New York State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) review process as it relates to the DRI and NY Forward programs. They will also learn how to determine whether a property is listed on or eligible for the State and National Registers of Historic Places, as well as become familiar with basic historic preservation best practices and common pitfalls to avoid.

Public Workshop #1
Community members are encouraged to attend the first Public Workshop and share their ideas, priorities, and perspectives on the future of Downtown Ithaca. Input gathered during the workshop will help refine the vision, goals, and investment priorities that will guide project development and the Strategic Investment Plan submitted to New York State at the end of this process
